Born in 1967. He is half Navajo and Zuni. He learned to silversmith from his brother in law, Myron Pantewa. Alex's petroglyph designs come from Chaco Canyon. All of the designs and figures have meanings from over 1000 years ago. Their ancestors left a lot of messages for us.
Stone: Sonoran Gold Turquoise
Relatively new in the market, this beautiful turquoise comes in an aqua blue, lime green, and a two tone blue and green. Unlike most turquoise, Sonoran Gold is not mined in veins but rather as individual nuggets typically found in clay deposits. Sonoran Gold is mined in Mexico, near the City of Cananea.
