Refund policy

At MALAIKA worldwide store, we are committed to ensuring the quality of our products. However, if you encounter any issues such as defects, damages, or incorrect deliveries, you have up to 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns:

To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition you received them: unworn or unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note, if the product is defective or damaged, we may request photos of the product for us to understand the issue clearly.

How to Initiate a Return:

To start a return, please contact us at store@mws.malaika.jp . Returns must be sent back to the address provided upon your return request's approval.

Returns Acceptance:

Upon approval, we will send you a return shipping label and instructions on how to send your package back to us. Returns without prior request will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues:

Inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions/Non-Returnable Items:

Certain items cannot be returned, such as perishable goods, custom products, personal care goods, hazardous materials, flammable liquids, gases, sale items, and items marked as non-returnable. This also includes items damaged or soiled by the customer, items with smells like smoke or pets, or if pet hair is present. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges and Customer Convenience Returns:

For exchanges or returns due to customer preference (e.g., size or image discrepancy), we accept items excluding those outlined as non-returnable, provided they are unused. Please note that return shipping and any associated fees are the customer's responsibility. Some items, particularly unique or out-of-stock items, may not be eligible for exchange.

European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period:

Customers in the European Union have the right to cancel or return orders within 14 days, for any reason and without justification, following the conditions mentioned above.

Refunds:

Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you about the refund's approval status. Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund. Contact us if more than 15 business days have passed since the refund approval.

Additional Notes:

Items with an inherent smell, such as those from imported goods or materials, considered a characteristic of the product, will be treated as customer preference returns.
