About Chinese Warring States Beads:

Warring States Beads: These beads, called "Warring States Beads," were crafted during the Warring States period (5th–3rd century BCE) before China's unification by the Qin dynasty. The oldest glass in China was excavated in Luoyang, Henan Province, dating back to the 11th–8th centuries BCE. However, glass products began to circulate widely during the Warring States period. Early Warring States beads were predominantly made from faience, a ceramic material decorated with glass patterns. Later, fully glass beads were also produced. Many beads featured patterns such as spots, often referred to as "Seven Star Beads" or "Eye Beads." Though the glass manufacturing techniques and design elements were influenced by West Asian regions such as Roman glass, the materials used in Chinese glass from this period differ, showcasing the advanced glass-making technology of ancient China.
