About Etched Carnelian:

Etched Carnelian from the Indus Valley Civilization is crafted by applying patterns using a liquid derived from plants, known as natron, and then firing at low temperatures between approximately 300 to 400 degrees Celsius. These beads have been excavated from sites in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, but they are believed to have been originally made in the Indus River Valley and transported via land and sea routes.
