About Etched Carnelian:

Originating from the Indus Valley Civilization, these carnelian beads are etched with patterns using natron liquid derived from plants and baked at low temperatures of 300 to 400 degrees Celsius. While they have also been unearthed in Mesopotamian and Afghan excavations, it's believed that those made in the Indus River basin were transported via land and sea routes.
