About Etched Carnelian:
Etched carnelian beads were crafted by the Indus Valley Civilization, using natron extracted from plants to create patterns that were then baked at low temperatures of around 300 to 400 degrees Celsius. These beads have been excavated from sites in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, though it is believed that they were originally made in the Indus River region and transported via land and sea routes.
