Description: Originating from the Indus Valley Civilization, these carnelian beads are decorated with patterns drawn using a natron solution derived from plants and baked at a low temperature of 300-400°C. While they have been excavated from sites in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, it is believed that they were originally crafted in the Indus Valley and transported via land and sea routes.
