Product Description: These etched carnelian beads date back to around 2500-1800 BCE. Each bead showcases intricate patterns, etched on the carnelian using a natron solution derived from plants, then baked at low temperatures of approximately 300-400 degrees Celsius. Discovered in sites across Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, these beads are believed to have been crafted in the Indus Valley and transported via land and sea routes.
