About Chevron Beads:
Chevron beads, also known as star beads or rosetta beads, originated in Murano, Italy, in the late 1400s, invented by Maria Valovere. While Venetian bead-making techniques often draw from ancient methods, Chevron beads are unique to Venice. These beads can have up to 10 layers, with blue being the most common color. Red, green, and black Chevron beads are rare and highly sought after. The technique later spread to the Netherlands. The name "Chevron" comes from the V-shaped pattern that characterizes these beads.
