About Chevron Beads:

Chevron beads are a testament to the rich history of Venetian glassmaking. Invented in the late 1400s by Maria Barovier on the island of Murano, Italy, these beads are celebrated for their unique, multi-layered design. While Venetian glass techniques draw from ancient methods, Chevron beads are distinctly Venetian. Known for their zigzag, or "chevron" patterns, they are also referred to as "Star Beads" or "Rosetta". The most common color is blue, but rare variations in red, green, and black exist. The production of Chevron beads eventually spread to the Netherlands, further enhancing their global appeal.
