Andy was born in 1966, in Gallup, NM. His brothers Darrell and Donovan Cadman, as well as Gary and Sunshine Reeves are all silversmiths. He is the oldest of his brothers, so his stamp work is very deep and wild. His heavy and fine stamp work are popular with high grade turquoise.

Chinese Turquoise ranges in color from all shades of green, to light blue, to a beautiful dark blue. Much of the material has a dark brown or black matrix and may also have a beautiful spider webbing. The area called Hubei produces high-grade matrix turquoise, so it also called 'Cloud Mountain' or 'Hubei turquoise'.
