About Etched Carnelian:
Etched Carnelian beads are crafted by applying a natron solution derived from plants to carnelian from the Indus Valley civilization, then firing it at a low temperature of around 300 to 400 degrees Celsius. These beads have been excavated from sites in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, but it is believed that those made in the Indus River region were transported via land and sea routes.
