About Etched Carnelian:
Etched Carnelian beads are crafted using a technique developed during the Indus Valley Civilization. Designs are created using a natron solution derived from plants and then fired at low temperatures of around 300 to 400 degrees Celsius. These beads have been excavated from sites in Mesopotamia and Afghanistan, but they are believed to have been produced in the Indus River Valley and transported via land and sea routes.
