Dzi beads are ancient beads originating from Tibet. Like Etched Carnelian Beads, they are made by applying natural dyes to agate and baking them to create patterns. In Tibet, they are cherished as "amulets of wealth and prosperity" and are passed down through generations as treasured adornments. Recently, their popularity has increased in China, where they are known as "Tian Zhu," with numerous replicas made using similar techniques.
