Product Description: Discover the timeless allure of ancient Agate, a mineral belonging to the Chalcedony family. Formed through the layered deposition of Opal, Quartz, and Chalcedony within cavities of igneous or sedimentary rocks, Agate has been cherished as an ornamental stone and is considered one of Buddhism's Seven Treasures. In the world of gemstones, it symbolizes "harmony," "symbiosis," and "health," making it a popular choice as a power stone today. In Yemen, Agate is known as "Aqiq" and is highly valued for its vivid reddish-brown hues and natural simplicity. This particular piece captivates with its translucent reddish-brown tones and lustrous finish reminiscent of glass or ceramics. When handled, the beads emit a soothing sound as they touch each other. Accented with record beads, crafted from coconut shells, resin, or recycled old records in the late 1900s, this Agate strand beautifully blends ancient and modern elements.
