Product Description: This exquisite strand features old beads with a unique wood-grain-like surface. Composed of agate, a type of chalcedony, these beads are formed by the deposition of opal, quartz, and chalcedony in cavities of igneous or sedimentary rocks. Cherished for ages as decorative items, agates are also one of the seven treasures in Buddhism. The stone symbolizes "harmony," "symbiosis," and "health," making it a popular choice as a power stone today. Agate is characterized by its vertical stripes, whereas those without are known as chalcedony. This strand showcases agate's distinctive banding and features mystical top beads with blood spots. These may include carnelian from the Indus period, offering a sense of romance with beads from various eras.
